Rebel Union

So guys. We're back. Again. 5th or 6th forum move I think? And RU just keeps on truckin'. Good job everybody, that's an achievement right there. Same ol' description, same ol' tasks, same ol' team. I realise the people on the roster aren't necessarily on this forum yet, so if they never turn i'll take them off at some point. But may as well give them benefit of the doubt first. If you wish to join, feel free to post here or PM me, i'll get back to you asap.


Old Description:
Rebel Union is a missin-nin guild with a ten ton of history behind it, both good and bad. We formed to fight the 'cliché' that all missin-nin are evil, sadistic, Sasuke wannabe bastards. Even though we may still be labelled as such, there is a lot more to us than meets the eye.
We are a guild that has the ideal to bring all types of people together, from all nations and villages. Or at least, this is what I plan to do. The only way to do this is to become missin-nin.
Despite our best explanations and reasoning to village leaders and the five Kage, it is still frowned upon to leave your village to join a band of 'criminals'. So as a Rebel Union member, you must always be aware that people will be out to kill you, especially if you have a large bounty on your head.
This is also another reason why Rebel Union has formed, the protection of as many missin-nin as possible. I'm sure you have all heard of the saying "safety in numbers", when ninja are involved, it is as simple as that.
We understand that becoming a missin-nin is a difficult, and lonely path. So we are here to fix that. If you want to join the Rebel Union cause, you will need to protect other Rebel Union members as much as we protect you. Trust is a difficult thing to come by as a missin-nin, but with Rebel Union you get that chance you've always wanted. If you break that trust after joining us, then I'm afraid there is nothing more we can do for you, and you will be exiled from our guild. Fair enough?
War is inevitable. The fact that people want 'peace' across the globe is purely ridiculous. We fight for survival, and shall avoid unnecessary wars that do not threaten our causes. Although, this doesn't mean we are going to sit back and watch as the world tries to eradicate itself, and us in the process. We will fight, and we will succeed.
If you are to become a member of RU then you will be placed in a squad that matches your fighting abilities/traits. So I'm sure you'll have plenty in common with the people you work with while on missions for Rebel Union.
So, I have only one thing left to ask of you. Do you think you're strong enough?

An Ode to RU:
So that was the old description. Would have felt wrong of me to get rid of it after keeping it for so long, but in any case I wanted to add this little something on the end too. Rebel Union has been around since the days of Abunai. Which, for all you new kids, was a very long time ago. I'm personally very proud to have lead you for so long, (*cough* forgetting the bit where TheSandPiranha was in charge *cough*) and if you would have me, I plan to carry on doing so until this guild draws its final breath. Thanks for sticking by the guild for so long Rebels, without you this Guild would have shrivelled up and died more than two years ago. Here's to you! *Raises Glass*

- Hired Assassinations
- Disposing of Rebel Union Threats
- War/Battle Assistance (To Highest Bidder)
- Thefts/Looting
- Escorts and Protection
- More Assassinations
- Hostage Taking/Retrieval

Rules:

1. Do not harm fellow Rebel Union members
2. Anyone betraying RU in anyway will be punished. Severely.
3. Respect everyone equally.
4. Follow your orders to the tee. Everyone needs to play their role.
5. No "Heroes", face it, you can't do everything by yourself.
6. Do not act with authority if you do not have it.
7. You may decline missions, but you cannot decline orders by any captain or higher.

Also, I should mention I re-posted the RU thread as it was just more convenient fore myself. As opposed to having to go through Hawks every time I get a pm or other type of request. Though I appreciate your initiative, Hawks.

I think you can but... It's better if you stop posting on another guild threads asking if you can join, cause there are guilds that don't let people be in 2 guilds at the same time.

Batman will decide if you join or not, and if you join, you're lucky.

Without Regrets: I don't mind if people have alternate characters in other guilds. As long as both respective guild leaders know about it and have agreed to the circumstances. Using your example of Hawks having an alternate character in Shadow Assassins, their leader, Ashes, and I have talked about the situation on numerous occasions.
